Honestly while I use Plater I thought the updated nameplates were pretty good (a bit ugly when you make them large).
HOW TO UPDATE ELVUI WOW HOW TO
I should probably just learn how to use plater and get rid of it as well as a bag addon.
or the account name if the WoW account was created before the integration. You dont need a client to update ElvUI/TukUI to a new version tbh. the folder Account, which contains subfolders for each WoW license that you logged in on, WOW1, WOW2 etc.the file Config.wtf, which contains the global settings of the System menu (in the login screen or ingame) Graphics, Sound etc.You might also want to backup the WTF folder in general (easier than saving multiple individual files) However, if you're unsure, copy the previous ElvUI folder elsewhere before applying the new version.
I'm not familiar with ElvUI, never used it, but as far as I know, it's merely a suite of addons.Īddons don't keep their settings in the Addons folder, instead they're in subfolders* of the WTF folder (in the base WoW install folder) so deleting/overwriting the addon folder should not affect the settings.
